Sub-National Administration Councils: Sub-National Administration Councils Organized

State Administration Council issued Order No. (16/2021) on 3rd February.

The Chairmen of sub-national administration councils are assigned by the authority and duties of Regions/States Chief Ministers stated in the Constitution by the State Administration Council in accordance with Article 419 of the State Constitution of the Republic of the Union of Myanmar.

The sub-national administration councils are organized as follow. Administration Council Chairman is as a Chairman, 1 Tatmadaw officer, 1 (or) 2 local representatives, Head of Region (or) State Immigration and Population Department, Head of Region (or) State Police Force are as members and Region (or) State Administrator is as a Secretary.

The order was signed by Secretary of the State Administration Council Lt-Gen Aung Lin Dway.
