Students Sports Meet : Student Athletes Prepare for 14th ASEAN Schools Games

Union Minister for Education Dr. Chaw Chaw Sein, along with officials, encouraged Myanmar student athletes training in Lewe Township for the upcoming 14th ASEAN Schools Games which will be held from November 20 to 28,.in Brunei.

The Union Minister instructed coaches to train students systematically and ensure proper accommodation arrangements. She also encouraged students to study the competition rules and Brunei’s culture, work as a team, and respect their leaders and coaches.

Honorary cash awards were also presented to the athletes. Myanmar will compete in four sports of Athletics, Sepak Takraw, Badminton and Basketball. A total of 52 students from Grade 5 to 12 across the country were selected to represent Myanmar.
