Strong Wind & Heavy Rain: Houses, Religious Buildings Destroyed

Strong winds destroyed 9 houses and a religious building and also roofs of 23 houses were blown off in OatPho and Nyaunglaypin townships areas on Monday.

Heavy rains also flooded 7 schools in 7 villages of Kyauktakhar Township – schools were temporarily closed.

Also, strong winds destroyed 59 houses and roofs of a monastery and 64 houses were blown off in 4 villages of Maubin Township.
