Strong Social Community: Entertainments staged in Naung Cho and Pyin Oo Lwin

Chairman of the Working Committee on Information and Development of a Resilient and Strong Social Community and Union Minister for Information U Maung Maung Ohn, together with film and music professionals, visited Naung Cho in Northern Shan State on Sunday.

The Union Minister and party enjoy the scenic beauty of cloud sea at Naung Cho Gyi, where visitors can take relaxation at the seven recreational areas, providing convenient arrangements and delicious foodstuff. On arrival at the sports stadium in Naung Cho where the meeting on implementing the information and development of strong and resilient community will be held, they were warmly welcomed by local people and staff.

The meeting commenced by screening a video clip titled ‘Marching Forward to the Goal’. Following this, the Union Minister delivered an addresses, appreciating the efforts of local community for restoring normalcy of the town in cooperation with the Tatmadawmen.

He also called for collaboration in the the upcoming multiparty general election and urged all to cast vote to the candidates who can perform for better future of the region. During the event, foodstuff, Buddha statues, MRTV DTH Satellites, and MRTV DVB – T2 Set Top Boxes were presented for the Tatmadawmen and departmental personnel.

Then, artists and vocalists performed the attendees with various songs.  In the evening, the Union Minister and party arrived in Pyin Oo Lwin where the entertainment programs were staged for the cadets of the Defence Services Academy, Defence Services Technological Academy and Tatmadawmen and families of Pyin Oo Lwin Station.
