
Chairman of the State Administration Council Commander-in-Chief of Defence Services Senior General Min Aung Hlaing on Monday attended the Council’s meeting 11/2021.
In his address at the meeting in Nay Pyi Taw, the Senior General stressed matters including political protests despite the Council’s explanations in line with the Constitution, the need to cooperate for the public safety, peace negotiation since the year of 2011, Nationwide Ceasefire Agreement, political systems in the past, the Council’s efforts to ensure democracy and end armed conflicts, importance of unity for stability in the country, important role of agricultural sector, efforts to narrow poverty gap between urban and rural areas, export sector and hydroelectric power generation.
Attendees discussed a series of matters including security measures for reopening of schools and for the public, the need to impose martial law in some townships, workshops for human resource development and drinking water project in Rakhine State and many other villages across the country.
The Senior General stressed the Council’s efforts to get the public trust on banking and currency flow, tax system in line with the law, security measures for ward and village administrators, scrutinizing to impose martial law in some townships, the need for ministries to scrutinize the works by NGOs and INGOs and appointment of staff at the ministries.
He also pledged to fulfill requirements in states and regions. The Senior General also said that students need to focus only on education and the need for the public to obey the laws for law enforcement in the country.
