Sports Sector : Visiting training camps and renovation of sports ground

Chairman of Myanmar Olympic Committee Union Minister for Sports and Youth Affairs and Hotels and Tourism Jeng Phang Naw Taung visited the Gold Camp in Nay Pyi Taw on Thursday, to view the training process of athletes for Petanque and weightlifting.

He also encouraged the athletes to have good health and stamina, while practicing systematically. The Union Minister and party later proceeded to Shwe Kyar Pin Sports Ground and instructed for speedy renovation of the quake damaged football ground. He also inspected the construction of Synthetic Runway and instructed for timely completion, meeting the set standard.
