Sports Sector: Union Minister Makes Inspections In Mandalay And Magway

Union Minister for Sports and Youth Affairs U Min Thein Zan made inspections in Mandalay Region. In Kyaukpadaung Township, the Union Minister inspected the township sports ground and gave instructions on water supply system, cleanliness and maintenance.

In Chauk and Yenangyaung townships of Magway Region, the Union Minister inspected the township sports grounds and stadiums and gave necessary instructions on cleanliness and maintenance.

On the 11th of March, at the Magway Region Sports and Physical Education Department, the Union Minister met with the concerned officials and stressed the importance of mutual respect, adherence to the COVID-19 prevention guidelines and reading habit.

He also met with the Magway Region Government, made discussions on sports sector development and provided sports gear.

The Union Minister continued his inspection trip to the Magway District football pitch and Minbu District football pitch and gave necessary instructions before meeting with the Minbu District concerned officials for discussion on cooperation.
