Sports Sector: Thaing, Track and Field competitions in Nay Pyi Taw

In commemoration of the 75th Anniversary Diamond Jubilee Independence Day, the Myanmar Traditional Martial Art of Thaing competition Regions and States (Open/Invitation) for the State Administration Council Chairman’s Trophy continued on Sunday.

Member of the State Administration Council [SAC] Jeng Phang NawTaung, Union Minister for Sports and Youth Affairs U Min Thein Zan and many other officials enjoyed the competition at the Wunna Theikdi Stadium (B) in Nay Pyi Taw.

After the competition participated by 14 teams from the regions and states, the judges and officials presented awards to winning men and women athletes, Mandalay Region Team and Yangon Region Team. Also, the Union Minister and Deputy Minister presented awards to winning men and women athletes in the track and field competition Regions and States (Open/Invitation) for the State Administration Council Chairman’s Trophy which is underway at the Wunna Theikdi Stadium.
