Sports Sector: SAC members attend awarding ceremonies

In commemoration of the 75th Independence Day, the third place and final matches of the invitational region/state Sepaktakraw competition for the State Administration Council Chairman’s Trophy took place on Tuesday at the WunnaTheikdi Stadium [B].

Members of the State Administration Council [SAC] Daw Aye Nu Sein, JengPhangNawTaung and U ShweKyein and many other officials and enthusiasts enjoyed the competition in Nay Pyi Taw.

There, the Rakhine State Team beat the Yangon Region Team for the third place and the Mandalay Region Team beat the Sagaing Region Team for the Trophy. After the competition, the SAC members and the union ministers presented awards and the trophy to the winning teams.

Also, in commemoration of the 75th Independence Day, at the WunnaTheikdi Stadium, the SAC Member Jeng Phang Naw Taung, Union Minister for Sports and Youth Affairs U Min Thein Zan and many other officials presented awards to winners in the invitational region/state U-25 track and field competition for the State Administration Council Chairman’s Trophy.
