Sports Sector : Meeting with Myanmar Judo and E-Sports Federations

Union Minister for Sports and Youth Affairs and Hotels and Tourism, Jeng Phang Naw Taung, who also chairs the Myanmar Olympic Committee, met with officials from the Myanmar Judo Federation in Yangon on Saturday.

During the meeting, discussions focused on preparing athletes for international competitions, improving training facilities, and securing support equipment, especially in preparation for the 33rd Southeast Asian Games. The Union Minister also met with the Chairman of Myanmar E-Sports Federation, and praised Myanmar's recent international success, including winning a world championship gold medal at the E-Sports World Cup.

He stated that the government is proud of their achievements and will continue to support and honor outstanding athletes. The Union Minister encouraged e-sports players to keep striving for more victories in future global events.
