Sports Competitions : Activity to commemorate the Rakhine State Day

Marking the 51st Anniversary of Rakhine State Day, sports competitions, entertainment activities and award presenting ceremony were held at Danyawadi Sports Ground in Sittwe on 13th December.

State Chief Minister U Htein Lin and concerned officials attended and encouraged the athletes. In the final match of inter departmental futsal tournament between Education Department Team and State Polic Force Team, the State Police Force Team won with the score of 2-1.

Then, the tug of war men final match continued and the State Fire Brigade team beat State General Administration Department. In women match, State General Administration Department won against State Education Department Team. Cash rewards and medals were presented to the winners of badminton, track and field, sepak takraw, tug of war and futsal matches respectively.
