Sports and Youth Affairs: MoSYA held its work coordination meeting

The first six-month work coordination meeting of 2025 for the Ministry of Sports and Youth Affairs was held at the meeting hall of Office No. 31 in Nay Pyi Taw on August 5.

Union Minister for the Ministry of Sports and Youth Affairs and the Ministry of Hotels and Tourism, Jeng Phang Naw Taung, attended and delivered the opening speech. In his speech, the Union Minister stated that to develop the sports and youth sectors, more can be accomplished by collaborating with related ministries and partner organizations.

He emphasized that for the emergence of a new generation of athletes, officials must dedicate themselves fully to the selection, training, and education of trainees to achieve 100% success. He also urged everyone to cooperate in their respective sectors to achieve one of the ministry's goals: success for Myanmar sports.

He specifically mentioned achieving good results at the upcoming 33rd Southeast Asian Games in Thailand. Following the speech, principals, directors, deputy directors-general, and directors-general who attended the meeting presented their past, ongoing, and future plans for the development of the sports sector.

The deputy ministers then provided additional comments on their respective sectors, and the Union Minister coordinated and addressed the needs presented.
