Sports Activities : December Mass Walk and training for 33rd SEA Games

The first week of December Mass Walk was held in Yangon on Saturday, aiming for participation of all entire people with sports spirit and ensuring physical strength.

Union Minister Jeng Phang Naw Taung joined the activity and signaled the start of mass walk from People's Square through  Ahlone Road and U Wisara Road, and back to th People's Square. A total of 2000 people participated in the activity, and they were served with breakfast.

Susequently, the Union Minister and party arrived at Training Camp of Myanmar Rowing Federation in Innya Road, observed traditional and international rowing practice. The Union Minister urged the athletes to strive for achieving gold medals.

They then proceeded to Theinbyu Stadium in Mingalataungnyunt Township,  monitored the training match of Muay Thai and Kickboxing athletes, and urged to make effort to achieve success.

Following this, the Union Minister and party went to Myanmar Shooting Sport Federation in North Dagon Township, and observed the training process of Myanmar selected athletes. He also instructed the atheletes to work harder for gaining sucess.

On arrival at the Myanmar Equestrian Federation, officials reported on the preparation and training  of athletes for Equestrian Eventing Triathlon whcih combines Dressage, Show Jumping and Cross Country categories. The Union Minister cordially greeted the athletes and encouraged to gain more wins in the 33rd SEA Games.
