Spain PM announces fresh flood aid of almost 3.8 bn euros

Spain will invest almost 3.8 billion euros in new aid to help stricken citizens recover from the country's worst floods in decades, Prime Minister Pedro Sanchez said on Monday. The fresh package comprising 110 measures comes after the government announced aid worth 10.6 billion euros last week. Spain will inject "all the necessary resources for as long as it takes", Sanchez told a news conference.
