






Chairman of the State Administration Council Prime Minister Senior General Min Aung Hlaing and delegation members left for Blagoveshchensk in Amur Oblast on Friday. They were seen off at Valdivostok International Airport by the Deputy Governor and officials. On arrival at Ignatyevo International Airport, the Prime Minister and party were welcomed by the Governor of Amur Oblast and officials.
They then proceeded to Vostochny Cosmodrome Spaceport, and observed the construction site of Angara Launch Pad and Soyuz-2 Launch Pad Site. The also studied the Rocket Assembly Workshop and Satellite Manufacturing Workshop in the Technical Complex.
Vostochny Cosmodrome Spaceport was established in August 2012. The first launch took place in 2016. 11 launch attempts have been made since its establishment. The Prime Minister and party later arrived at Engineering-technical building (GP-5) and held discussion with the Director General of State Space Corporation “Roscosmos”.
They discussed matters for providing assistance for space technology in Myanmar, human resource development, and cooperation in technological sector. The Prime Minister and party then left for Ulan-Ude in the Republic of Buryatia, and were seen off at the Airport by the Governor of Amur Oblast and officials.
