Smooth Services: Inspection and Extension for use of CNG Gas Cylinder

The Natural Gas Vehicle Department has been conducting its services for inspection of CNG gas cylinder and extension for use starting from 1st December 2020.

Situated in Insein Township of Yangon Region, the department is giving services from 9:00 am to 2:30 pm on week days.

Since COVID-19 disease has been spreading across the country, all costumers are advised to follow the rules and regulations for preventive measures.

General Manager, Natural Gas Vehicle Department, Kyaw Thura Win said “The service for extension of the use of CNG cylinder gas for vehicles has been conducting on office days in line with the instructions of the Ministry of Health and Sports. The drivers or anyone who come for extension of the use of CNG gas cylinder have to wear masks and practice social distancing measures.”

CNG Expert, Natural Gas Vehicle Department, Hla Win Htay said “For prevention of COVID-19 disease, the customers are also urged to follow the instructions laid down by the MOGE and the Standard Operation Procedures, released by our department as well as the rules and regulations, issued by the Ministry of Health and Sports.” 

The customers expressed their satisfaction for smooth process for extension of the use of CNG gas cylinder.   

Customer, Tin Aung Myo said “Before this place has not been opened, I had to go to the Natural Gas Vehicle Department in Tharkata Township for the extension services. It’s too far to go and wasted a lot of time. But now, I don’t need to go to there anymore – it’s really good for me.”

At present, the Natural Gas Vehicle Department provided services to 50 vehicles per day in line with the social distancing measures.
