S.Korean Ruling Party Lawmaker "Attacked" On A Street In Seoul

Bae Hyun-jin who is a South Korean ruling party lawmaker was attacked by an unidentified assailant on the street in Seoul on Thursday and has been taken to hospital, according to the official. She was struck with an object believed to be a blunt instrument and her condition was not life-threatening. Police later arrested the suspect, and an investigation is underway. 

Bae, a former news anchor, was President Yoon Suk Yeol's spokeswoman when he was the president-elect.
