Six reported dead in Australia floods

Heavy rain and floods have killed at least six people in Australia's Queensland state.  In Brisbane, cars were seen submerged and properties were flooded on Sunday.

There are fears that the city's rising river could cause further flooding in the region. Officials have said that tens of thousands of properties were without power on Sunday.

A nearby major highway was also cut off in both directions and hundreds of other roads across the state remained closed.
