Sinologists conference opens in Dunhuang, bringing many scholars

The Third World Conference of Sinologists opened in Dunhuang, China on Tuesday, bringing together around 150 international scholars, researchers, and former diplomats. Held under the theme "Pooling Wisdom of Civilizations to Jointly Address Challenges of Our Times”, the conference which will run through June 4th, focuses on fostering civilizational dialogue and bridging cultural divides to address global challenges.

At the event, attendees mainly discussed on the role of traditional Chinese philosophy such as the concepts of "harmony" and "coexistence"in modern global governance and conflict resolution.
