Shakira opens her Macondo park in Madrid

Shakira’s residency in Madrid of Spain begins this Friday, and will feature 12 concerts through October 11. The project includes Macondo Park, a pop-up city inspired by the world of Gabriel García Márquez, featuring spaces dedicated to music, cuisine, literature, fashion, and Latin culture. The venue will be located in Villaverde, and hundreds of thousands of people are expected to attend.
