Severe Cyclonic Storm: “YAAS” Moving North-Northwest

According to the observations at 3:30 a.m. M.S.T on Tuesday, the Cyclonic Storm “YAAS” over the East central Bay of Bengal has moved North-Northwest wards and has further intensified into a Severe Cyclonic Storm “YAAS”. 

It is centered at about 330 Nautical miles North west of Coco Island, about 335 Nautical miles West of Pathein (Myanmar), about 205 Nautical miles South-Southeast of Paradip, about 260 Nautical miles South-Southeast of Digha (India). Monsoon is strong over the Andaman Sea and Southeast Bay of Bengal. Weather is cloudy elsewhere over the Bay of Bengal.
