Seven Dead, 23 Injured in Tragic Bombing

At least seven people, including five schoolchildren have been killed and 23 others injured in a bombing near a girls' school in southwestern Pakistan, according to officials.

The attack, which occurred on Friday, targeted police officers guarding a polio vaccination drive in Mastung, a town in Balochistan province. Among the deceased were one police officer and a shopkeeper. The explosion is believed to have been caused by an improvised device attached to a motorcycle parked near the school.
