Selection and inauguration of New EC: New MGY Region EODA selected and formed

The inauguration ceremony for the new executive committee of the Magway Region Edible Oil Dealers’ Association was held at the Nanthaitthu Hotel hall in Magway Township on October 22. At the ceremony, Chief Minister U Tint Lwin stated that since the term of the current executive committee of the Magway Region Edible Oil Dealers’ Association is about to expire soon, in accordance with the national policy, a new executive committee must be re-elected and formed. The new committee should be organized so that it represents the entire Magway Region as a strong, unified, and capable association. It should include all oil traders and oil business owners from all areas within the region. The selection process should ensure that qualified and capable business owners who can lead the association effectively are chosen. Officials from the Myanmar Edible Oil Dealers’ Association headquarters are also expected to select competent and capable executives. 

Furthermore, Vice Chairman of the Myanmar Edible Oil Dealers’ Association U Maung Maung Zaw provided clarifications regarding the reformation of the association. The Chairman of the Election Supervisory Committee and Vice Chairman the Myanmar Edible Oil Dealers’ Association U Paing Phyo Thant also gave explanations and discussions related to the selection of the new executive committee.

Subsequently, the selection of the chairman and executives of (2025-2028) Magway Region Edible Oil Dealers’ Association was carried out according to the procedures. It is understood that there was a clear discussion about the new chairman's future activities, and the Vice-Chairman of Myanmar Edible Oil Dealers’ Association, U Paing Phyo Thant, expressed his gratitude.
