Secretary Blinken meets with Viet Nam's Le Hoai Trung at State Department

US Secretary of State Antony Blinken met with Le Hoai Trung, Chairman of Vietnam’s External Relations Committee at the State Department, to discuss enhancing US-Vietnam diplomatic and economic relations. Blinken expressed confidence in the partnership’s future, highlighting the progress made between the two countries.

.  Antony Blinken, US Secretary of State said "I am very confident that the work we've done to build to really a historic level, the partnership between the United States and Viet Nam, will continue well into the future. It's profoundly in the interests of both of our countries and I'm very pleased that we've been able to work so closely together to build this strong important foundation that's in the interests of Vietnamese, American people and people throughout the region of the world."
