Second Coordination Meeting: Mon State CM gave necessary instructions

The second coordination meeting for the successful holding of the 2025 15th Collective Maha Kathina Robe Offering Ceremony, led by the Mon State Government, was held at the Aung San Hall of the Mon State Government Office in Mawlamyaing on October 23.

The Patron of the Ceremony Organizing Leading Committee for the 2025 15th Collective Maha Kathina Robe Offering Ceremony, Mon State Chief Minister U Aung Kyi Thein, addressed the meeting. He stated that the annual Collective Maha Kathina Robe Offering Ceremony will also be held successfully this year, and arrangements are being made for everyone to participate together in the Ceremony to make merit. Furthermore, regarding the holding of the Tazaungdaing Lighting Festival, he emphasized the need for all working committee members to strive together to ensure it is held peacefully, prosperously, and grandly, to organize MSME trade fairs, and to facilitate the firing of fireworks and the launching of hot air balloons.

Afterwards, the various ceremony organizing working committees in attendance explained the status of preparations made in their respective sectors for the successful holding of the 15th Collective Maha Kathina Robe Offering Ceremony. The State Chief Minister provided necessary coordination and support regarding these presentations and delivered concluding remarks.
