SEA Games Medals: Myanmar won gold medal in Wushu-Men’s Taolu Nangun

Myanmar grabbed a gold medal in Wushu event on Sunday.

Thein Than Oo won in Wushu-Men’s Taolu Nangun competition while Vietnam won silver and Indonesia bronze medals respectively.

Also in Wushu-Women’s Sanda 60 Kg event, Su Hlaing Win from Myanmar won a silver medal. Vietnam won gold medal and Indonesia and Laos won bronze medals respectively.

In Wushu-Women’s 52 Kg event, Cherry Than from Myanmar won bronze medal together with a player from Cambodia. Vietnam won gold and Indonesia silver medal respectively.

Myo Min Htet of Myanmar also won bronze medal in Wushu-Men’s Sanda 70Kg event, together with a player from the Philippines. Vietnam Won Gold medal and Indonesia won Silver medal respectively.

Meanwhile, Myanmar Men Volleyball Team won against Malaysia at the Preliminary Round. Myanmar is in the Group A of the Men Volleyball event together with Vietnam, Indonesia and Malaysia. Myanmar lost Indonesia in the opening match, and will face with the host Vietnam on the 18th.

As of 15th May, Myanmar won a total of 18 medals in the SEA Games including 4 gold, 5 silver and 9 bronze medals.
