Science Festival 2023: 3-day festival commenced in Yangon

A Science Festival 2023, jointly organized by Russian State Atomic Energy Corporation ROSATOM and the Ministry of Science and Technology of Myanmar commenced on Wednesday.

Union Minister Dr Myo Thein Kyaw made an opening speech at the ceremony, held at the Technological University in Yangon. It was followed by a word of honour by the Deputy Director General of ROSATOM. They later viewed round the booth displayed by the departments under the ministry, technological university, universities of computer studies and the ministry of education.

The festival will be held for 3 days from 28th to 30th June. It will include quiz for basic education students, demonstration by the pre-graduate and post-graduate students, study tour to Yangon Technological University, seminar on nuclear energy and related science topics by the engineering students, discussions by the Russian experts and knowledge sharing program for media.
