Science and Technology: Union Minister Attends Forum in Kazakhstan

Union Minister for Science and Technology Dr. Myo Thein Kyaw attended the VI International Forum “Digital Bridge 2025”: Generative Nation from October 1st to 4th in Astana of the Republic of Kazakhstan.

On 1st October, the Union Minister joined the meeting of Council for Development of Artificial Intelligence at the EXPO International Exhibition Center in Astana.

The meeting was inaugurated with the remarks of President of Kazakhstan Mr. Kassym-Jomart Tokayev. Present at the meeting were, Artificial Intelligence and Digital Development Minister of Kazakhstan Mr. Zhaslan Madlyev၊, high ranking officials, specialists and experts from international countries.

On 2nd October, the Union Minister attended the opening ceremony of VI International Forum “Digital Bridge 2025”: Generative Nation. The ceremony was attended by the President of Republic of Kazakhstan Mr. Kassym-Jomart Tokayev, Hungarian President Mr. Tamas Sulyok, founder of Telegram Mr. Pavel Durov, international entrepreneurs and special invited guests. There, the Union Minister made a tour to displayed exhibitions.

On 3rd October,  the Union Minister met with the Vice Minister for Artificial Intelligence and Digital Development of Kazakhstan Mr. Kanysh Tuleushin. The meeting focused on strengthening of bilateral cooperation in science and technology sector.

The VI International Forum “Digital Bridge 2025”: Generative Nation was organized aiming to transform the Republic of Kazakhstan as an information hub between Europe and Asia and it brought together over 67,000 observers, 1,000 participants and 500 investors representing over 100 countries worldwide.
