School Library Development : Reading Habit Promotion Festival in Yangon

The Yangon Region Government on Thursday organized a School Library Development and Reading Habit Promotion Festival at the Basic Education Middle School (Training) in Thingangyun Township.

Chief Minister U Aung Naing Thu formally opened the event and visited exhibitions, book stalls, and student competitions, including painting, essay writing, quizzes, poetry, and storytelling. The festival aims to encourage reading and improve school libraries.
