Schmidt Advocates AI Potential at Investment Summit

Former Google CEO Eric Schmidt addressed an investment summit, stating that he believes AI has the potential to make humans "at least twice as productive." He emphasized that this gain in efficiency will increase wages rather than cutting them.

Eric Schmidt, Former Google CEO said "The consequence of all of that is an enormous wave of investment that will benefit each and every industry by making it more efficient, more successful. What happens to humans? Their incomes go up, not down, in this scenario. That's the important point."

In a discussion with UK Prime Minister Keir Starmer, Schmidt encouraged Britain to strengthen its collaboration with the United States in response to "tough" competition from other global players.
