The Gaza office of a British children's charity said it is "completely unsafe for anyone to move" inside the enclave amid the ongoing conflict between Israel and Palestinian militants, with children particularly traumatised by the experience.  The communications officer for Save the Children in Gaza told Sky News the sounds of bombing and destruction was leaving Palestinian young people unable to sleep and in a permanent state of alert.

Mazen Naim said Save the Children's Gaza Communications Officer: “We've seen symptoms of depression, symptoms of post-traumatic stress disorder and many other symptoms that would continue to affect children in the future and this is very alarming under this context.” The war in shows no sign of abating and truce efforts are apparently stalled.
