Saudi crown prince welcomes China's president

Chinese leader Xi Jinping is holding landmark talks with Saudi Arabia's King Salman and Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman in Riyadh on Thursday. Saudi state television aired footage of Xi's car arriving at Al Yamama Palace, where he was greeted by Prince Mohammed.

During the visit, Xi is expected to attend the inaugural China-Arab States Summit and a meeting of the Gulf Cooperation Council, which includes the kingdom along with Bahrain, Kuwait, Oman, Qatar and the United Arab Emirates.
