Member of the State Administration Council (SAC) Porel Aung Thein, Kayah State Chief Minister U Zaw Myo Tin, and other officials attended a ceremony in Loikaw to donate essential foodstuffs to people temporarily displaced due to terrorist incidents.
At the donation ceremony, the SAC member stated that as stability and peace return to the state, more people are resettling, and he encouraged public cooperation in security, stability, peace, and the rule of law within the state.
Also, the Chief Minister spoke about the systematic efforts being made to enable people to return to their homes, and the provision of drinking water, electricity, education, healthcare, and assistance for the resumption of agricultural, livestock, and original livelihood activities. And, they provided rice, cooking oil, and noodles to the temporarily displaced persons. Attendees presented their needs, and the officials clarified how these could be fulfilled.
At a meeting with staff and students held at the training school for development of nationalities youth from border areas, the SAC member emphasized the need for them to understand the goodwill of the state, be grateful and loyal, and fulfill their duties diligently. There, he and the officials presented cash awards to the staff, students, and trainees, and offered warm words of encouragement and made inspections at the school. They also inspected the traditional Tagundaing Hall in Htay Thama Ward which was damaged by terrorist acts.
