Sabotages of terrorists: Tatmataw to level up the security measures

Tatmataw is putting efforts for the regional stability and law and order across the country after taking state responsibilities on the declaration of state of emergency in line with the state constitution (2008).

In responding to the efforts, the terrorist organizations of CRPH, NUG and their affiliated insurgents so called PDF are stepping up the terrorist acts in the towns and villages to undermine the peace and stability across the nation, to erode the trust on the government by the public to see the deaths and threats due to their terrorist acts.

Among their terrorist acts, acting on tip-off, Tatmataw and security forces carried out the security measures to protect the loss of lives and properties of the people as the terrorist insurgents were gathering forces in the houses of civilians in MaiLone Ward, Loikaw Township, Kayah State in the afternoon on 16th January.

By the time of carrying out the security measures, the terrorist insurgents started fire with small and large weapons and the engagement of gunfire broke out from 12:25 to 2:30 p.m. In addition, the people with the sense of obligation shared information that the terrorist insurgent leaders sheltered in Nan Mae Khon Town of Loikaw Township gathered weapons, ammunitions and forces to reinforce terrorists in Loikaw and some forces departed for Loikaw in motor vehicles to step up the attack.

So, Tatmataw intercepted them with the supports of air attacks and artillery fires and they were put under control. The Tatmataw is leveling up the security measures with the cooperation of the people who are against the terrorist acts to respond their sabotages of undermining country’s stability and public’s casualty.
