S. Korea and U.S. Marine Corps conduct first Korean Marine Exercise

South Korea and American Marine Corps engaged the first combined exercise for the year 2024 in the port city of Pochang, according to the officials on Thursday. Some four hundred soldiers from both countries are taking part in the Korean Marine Exercise program including armored vehicles battle tanks and heavy-lift helicopters.

The exercise focuses on enhancing the combat readiness of the marines and takes place some 20 times a year, and this latest drill runs until 20th February, said by the officials.
