Russia plans to hold trilateral talks with the United States and Ukraine in Abu Dhabi in November, with the United States acting as mediator. Kremlin aide Yury Ushakov said on Friday that consultations on the meeting date were underway between Russia and the United States.

Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky said Ukraine is waiting for the United States to finalize the date and hopes the talks could take place before Nov. 10. European countries will not be invited to participate in the negotiations, according to Ushakov.
