Rural Development Sector: MCRD Union Minister meets with staff

Union Minister for Cooperatives and Rural Development U Hla Moe met with village developmental committee members and departmental officials from 4 villages within Hpa-An, Hlaingbwe and Thandaunggyi townships at Rural Area development department in Hpa-An on 6th November.

After clarifying about the ongoing implementations for the developmental works for the rural area, VDP fund (2025-2026 FY) worth of 60 million kyats were provided for these 4 villages. Next, the Union Minister met with 20 trainees and gave words of encouragement at the Advanced Tailoring Course opened by the Village Area Development Department from 6th November to 20th December 2025.

Then, the Union Minister met with division and township level staff from 4 departments under the Ministry. During the meeting, the Union Minister stressed that cooperation tasks for the rural residents are being carried out in line with the Ministry’s purposes and ambitions, and urged the staff to make strenuous efforts for the betterment of their livelihood. He also made instructions to complete the projects in the stipulated time. Then, he cordially met with the staff and coordinated the needs.
