Rural development: Roads, E-library and IT Center of model village opened

In honoring and hailing the 75th Anniversary Diamond Jubilee Independence Day, the opening ceremonies of concrete roads, E-library and IT Center of Thaw Hmaw Kone model village, Lewe Township, Union Territory Nay Pyi Taw and the Hsin-Thay Creek crossing Bridge on KyinTaung Kan-Zee Gone-Lay Thar-Tha Yet Taw Road in Pubbathiri Township were held in the morning on 28th December with the attendance of Union Minister for Agriculture, Livestock and Irrigation and Cooperatives and Rural Development U Hla Moe, Nay Pyi Taw Council Chairman U Tin Oo Lwin and senior officials.

At the opening ceremony of concrete roads, E-library and IT Center of Thaw Hmaw Kone model village, Union Minister U Hla Moe said the Prime Minister guided to carry out the effective road transportation for the development of rural areas, for the development of rural, private and cooperatives enterprises and to promote the small scale industries.

In line with the guidance, the ministry is implementing comprehensive development with the linkage with the promotion of rural infrastructure development as well as agro-livestock based cooperatives and the development of MSMEs.

For the Thaw Hmaw Kone Village, as the E-library and IT Center have been set up, the market news, technological data about the agriculture and livestock, education and healthcare will be facilitated.

The Chairman of Nay Pyi Taw Council U Tin Oo Lwin said the Union Territory Nay Pyi Taw is being implemented into Clean City, Green City and Smart City in conformity with the guidance of the prime minister.

The ministry of cooperative and rural development has set up three model villages in Nay Pyi Taw area and the Nay Pyi Taw Council is cooperating in the effort. All are urged to cooperate with the relevant departments to promote the village living now to be model village.

Next, the Union Minister U Hla Moe, Nay Pyi Taw Council Chairman U Tin Oo Lwin and permanent secretary opened the new concrete roads by cutting the ribbon, presented gifts in commemorating the road opening and viewed the concrete roads.

Then, the deputy minister U Myint Soe, Nay Pyi Taw Council member (1) Col. Min Naung and member (2) U Zayyar Lin opened the E-library and IT Center of the village library and a responsible person from Skylark Company clarified regarding the digital technology at IT Center.

Afterward, the Union Minister U Hla Moe, Nay Pyi Taw Council Chairman U Tin Oo Lwin, deputy ministers, permanent secretary, directors general and officials attended the opening ceremony of the Hsin-Thay Creek crossing Bridge on KyinTaung Kan-Zee Gone-Lay Thar-Tha Yet Taw Road in Pubbathiri Township.

At the ceremony, the Union Minister U Hla Moe and Nay Pyi Taw Council Chairman U Tin Oo Lwin gave the opening remark.Then, one of local residents expressed words of thanks for the construction of the bridge.

After opening the bridge by cutting the ribbon by the Union Minister U Hla Moe and Nay Pyi Taw Council Chairman U Tin Oo Lwin, deputy ministers U Myint Soe and U Win Pe and the stone inscription was sprinkled with the scented water.

After posing documentary photo of the opening ceremony of Hsin-Thay Creek crossing Bridge honoring the 75th Diamond Jubilee Independence Day, they inspected the bridge passing along it, it’s learnt.
