Rural Development : Projects MCRD Deputy Minister tours in Kayin State

Deputy Minister for Cooperatives and Rural Development U Thike Soe made inspection tour in Kayin State on Saturday. They inspected 1-mile farm access road and two box culverts in Kyaik Kaylaytha  Village of Hpa-an Townships, funded by the Union Government for the 2025-2026 fiscal year. He also met with local farmers to discuss agricultural and development needs.

The Deputy Minister later inspected the concrete paving of inter-village road. He then visited a vocational training center in Hpa-an Township to observe the progress of skill development programs aimed at improving employment prospects for local residents.

The Deputy Minister then attended a meeting with members of the local farmer associations and provided support for their agricultural activities. He emphasized the government's commitment to enhancing the livelihoods of farmers and improving crop outputs through various support schemes.

Then, the Deputy Minister visited rural development offices and attended the ceremony to provide funds under the Emerald Green Project. He also met with officials to discuss ongoing projects and challenges.
