Rural Development: MCRD Union Minister tours in Mandalay Region

Accompanied by concerned officials, Union Minister for Cooperatives and Rural Development U Hla Moe inspected the cooperative operations and regional development measures within Mandalay Region on Wednesday.

At "M" Hotel jointly operated by “Ma Ga Du” Construction and General Cooperative Association and Pyin Oo Lwin Township Cooperative Unit in Kyauk Taung Area, the Union Minister heard reports on hotel renovation process and further work implementations.

Upon reports, the Union Minister instructed on good service provision, meeting set standards, swift completion of renovation process and urged to work on future expansion plans. Upon arrival at Pyin Oo Lwin Township Cooperative Department, the Union Minister met with the staff, encouraged them to make strenuous efforts for their better future and urged to fulfill their duties responsibly in regional development measures.

Subsequently, the Union Minister and party proceeded to Kyi Kaing Village, inspected the concrete paving of village road initiated by Village Development Project VDP Fund. During the meeting with residents, the Union Minister encouraged them to strive for the emergence of agro-based manufacturing enterprises as the government is providing requisite assistance for agricultural and livestock breeding infrastructure development.

He also assured to provide agricultural input in timely manner and coordinated requirements. Then, the Union Minister and party inspected Aung Aung Welding Door Enterprise and coordinated necessities. Later, the Union Minister and party inspected concrete paving of Nyaung Ni- Pinnaygone - Inngyi Village inter-village road, heard reports on completion condition and instructed on systematic maintenance of the road to ensure long-term resilience of the facility.
