Rural Development : MCRD Union Minister tours in Ayeyawady Region

Union Minister for Cooperatives and Rural Development U Hla Moe and officials, met with Region, District, and Township-level staff under the Ministry at the Ayeyawady Region Rural Development Department office on Sunday.

The Union Minister urged the staff to understand Ministry’s established policies and work cohesively across its relevant departments. He stressed technology integration for farmers through the National Economic Promotion Fund, coordination among sectors to support rural producers, efforts to boost rural incomes and attention to staff welfare.

During the visit at the Cooperative Accounting Vocational Training Centre (Pathein), the Union Minister and party met with the principal, teachers, and students in the training hall. The Union Minister urged students to study diligently and upskill while setting clear goals, noting that qualified students can advance to cooperative degree colleges and universities. He also instructed teachers to guide the students toward their goals and help them secure job opportunities after training.
