Rural development efforts: MoCRD Union Minister inspected regional development works

The Union Minister for Cooperatives and Rural Development U Hla Moe together with the officials concerned conducted ground inspection of inter-villages road and regional development works implementing for the socio-economic life of the rural population in Pyin Oo Lwin Township, Mandalay Region in the morning on Thursday.

‌First, the Union Minister inspected paving asphalt on one mile and five furlongs long Naung Hlaing-Pin Tee inter-village road and in responding to clarification of the responsible officials, Union Minister instructed to complete with the scheduled time meeting the quality and standard. 

Next, the Union Minister and party inspected the status of completing the asphalt paving the 2455 feet long, 14 feet high village road in Kyee Kaing Village of Inya-village tract implementing with the Village Development Project Supporting Fund and the contribution of the village residents. At the meeting with the village population, village elders and departmental personnel, the union minister urged the village population to report openly regarding with the requirements of the village and then the head officer of Mandalay Region Rural Development Department reported the status of rural development works to be carried out in Pyin Oo Lwin Township and the village population submitted the works to be implemented for the village and the Union Minister coordinated necessaries in responding to the reports.

Afterward, the Union Minister and party met with headmaster, teachers and students at Kyee Kaing Village Basic Education Primary School and fulfilled requirements upon the reports of headmaster and teachers, it’s learnt.
