Ruling party set to win Georgian elections

Georgia's election commission said the country's ruling party is leading with 52.99 percent of the vote in the parliamentary elections, according to partial results. The chairman of the commission, said that based on the early data obtained from 2,206 polls, Georgian Dream gained 935,004 votes. Under Georgia's new system of proportional representation, whoever wins half the vote wins half of the 150 seats.
