Revised Laws Enacted: SAC Enacted YCD And MCD Revised Laws

The State Administration Council of the Republic of the Union of Myanmar issued the State Administration Council Law (1/2021) Yangon City Development Revised Law dated 10th February signed by the chairman of state administration council commander in chief of defense services senior general Min Aung Hlaing.

The state administration council enacted this law under section-419 of the constitution of the Republic of the Union of Myanmar. The law shall be called as the Yangon City Development Revised Law.

The law shall be in force till the date of the completion of forming the union government and regions and states governments according to the election which will be held by the state administration council after accomplishment of the tasks in line with the provisions on state of emergency.  As long as this law being in force, it shall be assumed as if the chapter (3) and (4) of Yangon City Development Law have been repealed, it’s learnt.

Similarly, the State Administration Council issued the State Administration Council Law (2/2021) Mandalay City Development Revised Law. The law shall be called as the Mandalay City Development Revised Law. As long as this law being in force, it shall be assumed as if the chapters (3), (4), (5), (6) of Mandalay City Development Law have been repealed, it’s learnt.
