Renovation Works : Progress of renovation works at damaged pagodas

Renovation measures are underway for damaged pagodas in Sagaing Region which were affected by the powerful earthquake. On October 17th, Chief Minister U Myat Kyaw visited the Sulamani Kaung Hmu Taw Pagoda and oversaw the progress of renovation works at the pagoda's stairways, upgrading the platform, Buddha images and religious edifices.

The Chief Minister and party later visited the Soon Oo Ponnya Shin Pagoda and viewed the progress of renovation works. They then proceeded to the Mahi Yingana   Pagoda and Ceti Hla and inspected the reconstruction works.
