Renovation Works: Progress of reconstruction works in Chin State

Deputy Minister for Social Welfare, Relief and Resettlement Dr Thant Zaw Lwin on Thursday inspected the progress of rehabilitation works in Falam.

Renovation works are underway at No.4 Basic Education Primary School, office buildings and staff housings of the Irrigation and Water Utilization Management Department, Department of Meteorology and Hydrology and Agriculture Department.

Due to the terrorist acts, various infrastructures including the departmental buildings were damaged in Tedim, Tonzang and Falam. Renovation works are being out with the use of National Disaster Management Fund. 58.8% of renovation works have been completed in Tonzang, 81.8% in Tedim and 58.38% in Falam.
