





Bago Region Chief Minister U MyoSwe Win together with officials visited Bago General Hospital on Wednesday and observed giving health care services to retired civil servants in commemoration of Diamond Jubilee Independence Day with the supervision of Bago Region Government.
On arrival at 500-bed Bago General Hospital, the Region Chief Minister observed providing health care service to retired service personnel by the medical staff and participation of departments, town elders, social organizations and volunteer organizations. The Chief Minister then encouraged the retired service personnel receiving health care service and presented cash to the Head of the Regional Public Health Department for health care services.
Under the leadership of Bago Region Government and cooperation of department, town elders and social organizations, health care services will be given to retired service personnel who performed duties in the respective departmental fields of Bago Region at the People’s Hospital in Bago Region every 21st monthly.
There are more than 93,000 retired civil servants in Bago Region and over 12,000 live in Bago Township.
