






Union Minister for Religious Affairs and Culture U Ko Ko, together with the Deputy Minister and officials, visited Mingala Byuhar Sasana Beikmantawgyi in Nay Pyi Taw Pyinmana on Saturday.
The Union Minister and party paid homage to the Patron Sayadaw of Mingala Zayon Pali University Monastery and members of the Sangha.
The Union Minister also made 1 million kyats cash donation for the exam department.
The Union Minister and party later viewed the members of the Sangha and nuns who are sitting for the Government Dhamma Cariya Exams. 398 members of the Sangha, 58 nuns and 1 lay person, altogether 457 are sitting for the exam in the Union Territory Nay Pyi Taw, Pyinmana and Tatkone.
The exams have been held at 63 exam centers across the country from 30th April to 9th May. Moreover, Pali First Re-examination will also be held at 241 exam centers from 7th to 13th May.
