


The 6th relief flight of Myanmar National Airlines (MNA) carrying a total of 129 passengers including Myanmar nationals and Myanmar seafarers stranded in Australia and New Zealand amidst the COVID-19 pandemic and the foreigners who are going to work for the state projects of Myanmar government departed from Sydney of Australia at 10 a.m. local time on 21st November, 2020.
For the convenience of the passengers to take the relief flight, Myanmar ambassador U Thar Aung Nyut and embassy staffs helped necessaries at the airport.
In line with the policy of the National-Level Coronavirus Disease 2019 (COVID-19) prevention, control and treatment Central Committee, under the guidance of the ministry of foreign affairs and ministry of international cooperation, with the supporting of the related ministries including ministry of health and sports, ministry of social welfare, relief and resettlement, ministry of transport and communications and the collaboration of Myanmar National Airlines and Australian authorities, totaling 6 relief flights have flown and a total of 740 Myanmar nationals and 26 foreigners have been transported smoothly and safely, it’s learnt.
