Relief flight: 22 Myanmar nationals brought back from Japan

The 33rd Relief flight of NH 1941was arranged for Myanmar citizens and their families who stranded in Japan amidst COVID-19 pandemic and departed through Tokyo Narita – Okinawa Naha Airport to Yangon at 9:30 a.m. local time on 20th August, 2021.

The 33rd Relief flight took a total of 22 Myanmar nationals including those who was in Japan with short visit visa and could not return home in time, students who are there under scholarship, migrant workers who are difficult to find job, those who completed internship training, dependent family members, Myanmar seafarers who are waiting for crew change in Japan ports and 24 Japanese technicians and skillful employees who are working for the industries joint-ventured with the ministries of Myanmar.

For the convenience of Myanmar nationals and families who will take the 33rd Relief Flight were helped necessaries by the responsible officials and embassy staffs of Myanmar embassy, staff members of All Nippon Airways and the staffs from the immigration department.
